Chameleon

Two chameleons stand, side by side, Shifting shades to survive the tide. Instinctive, seamless—blending in, Adapting colors, thick or thin. And we, too, morph to match the room, Not for safety—but approval’s bloom. Reflecting worth in another's eyes, Hiding behind well-crafted lies. Both survive, but only we  Bear the weight of what others see.
